This is one area where our visitors can put their hands in the water to see first hand, how warm and soft the water is.

The Rotorua Maori and staff in Hells Gate swim in the lake, but it is a little dangerous for visitors to do so due to the changing nature of the lake.

You can however enjoy an invigorating thermal mud bath or spa in either the Wai Ora Spa Facility or Hells Gate Spa Facility!
